5 ways to create a website that shows off your brand

If you are need of a website re-fresh or if you are starting a new website for the first time. We have written some quick ways in which you can utilise your website to show off your brand. If you need help with brand identity scroll down to the end for more inside information.

1. Who are you?

Your website copy needs to be clear and concise, if needed re-write your statement over and over until it is perfectly clear what you are offering.

Clearly let us know who you are and how you can assist us. You get 15 seconds to communicate this. Any longer and they may leave and go elsewhere, so it is important to get straight to the point! ⁣

2. Build trust.

When your design and imagery is good this creates an outstanding first impression. We feel like you are taking yourself seriously so we can trust you. ⁣

Invest in producing quality images and visually how you desire it to look. Your logo and colour scheme all play a role in coming across irresistible.

3. ⁣Flaunt what you got.

Another way to establish trust is showing that you’ve got experience and you've already done great work. Use logos of past customers or include client testimonials. This helps reduce the perceived risk of your product or services. ⁣

4. What's in it for me?

Rather than listing the characteristics, describe the benefits your readers can look forward to by using your product or service. Make sure you’re speaking directly to your ideal client. Use ‘you’ rather than ‘them’ for example, 'I help you feel your best.’⁣

5. Tell us what's new.

People come to your homepage to discover if anything has changed. Perhaps you’ve created a new blog post or even a product or service, talk about it. Not only does it draw more people to your site, but helps with SEO.

Above all, don’t try and be all things to all people. Simplicity and clarity are key! ⁣
